There is one place that many people know it exists but not many people have experienced it.
Mainly because of its previous exclusivity or its hidden location, but this is definitely one of the unique places that Las Vegas offers to its visitors.
To celebrate my birthday, we decided to try this hidden gem.
The entrance to the Foundation Room is located on the first floor of Mandalay Bay near the main entrance. There was a reservation desk and we told the name to the host. Once we passed the desk, there were three elevators that took us to the top of the building.
Since we arrived there extra early around 5:30 pm, we decided to hang out at the bar till the reservation time. As soon as we arrived to the top floor, we were greeted by the giant Budda statue.
The bar area was decorated heavily in oriental theme with beady mosaic wall, vivid color drapes, velvety cushions, oriental rugs, and rustic wooden floor along with adorned ceiling.
After we grabbed a couple of drinks from very friendly and informative bartender, we explored the area little bit more. There were several private rooms at the bar area and they were reserved for the House of Blues Club Members.
Well.. it is such a waste to stay only inside when you are at a place that comes with the best view of the city. Let’s go out to the Patio!
Honestly, it was indeed the best view from Las Vegas. We were able to observe the most of Las Vegas Valley area with very close-up view of the Strip. This must be the #1 place to watch the New Year’s fireworks.
After we finished our drinks and took some photos, it was the time for the food!
To be continued…
